Bumps & Tropical Storms

Sarah and Baby G

This shoot was most definitely the most fun and relaxed I have ever done. Sarah was so graceful; more than many women who aren’t almost 40 weeks pregnant! Sarah was also fearless, strong and confident.

The night before, Muscat had a tropical downpour which had me questioning if a sunrise shoot by the beach was the best place to have a maternity shoot. The early morning looked calm and bright, we met by the beach as the tide inched inwards. The wind was blowing calmly and fate and the weather was on our side.

Sarah and I walked around Qurum beach, she obliged time and again when I suggested various poses and I am completely obssessed with the images we created. As we neared the rocks at the end of the shore, I asked if she would like to do some pictures in the water. Without hesitation…we marched (her deeper than I) inwards.

Thank you Sarah for being my first maternity model, the entire session was just like a walk on the beach with a friend.

P.S. Baby G arrived safely into the world a week and a day later <3
