Yoga & the Beach

I discovered Yama Yoga Studios in Qurum almost two years ago now and the lovely proprietor of that business is Erina. Erina has created a space which has such a wonderful serene vibe that is possibly my favourite place in Muscat. That made this shoot all the more special. Erina and I set out one summer evening to the beach to take photos. It was hot….as you can imagine in Muscat in June. But it was so much fun we barely noticed the heat. It also helped that we were in and out of the water! Yes, my camera and I almost fell in but luckily no disasters.

Erina and I moved around the beach using the various landscapes that would make each pose look best; posing on rocks, arching in the sand and meditating on a cliff. Have a look at the images below and see how beautiful and graceful Erina moving though the sand and water.
